By creating a SimmerNote account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required by local law. Keep your login secure and provide an email address you control.
Your content and shared links
You retain ownership of your content. You grant SimmerNote permission to store, process, display, and deliver it as needed to provide the service and enforce these rules. Share only material you have permission to use. A shared link can be forwarded; a countdown does not prevent recipients from recording or redistributing content once it is available.
Prohibited use
Do not use SimmerNote for illegal content, child sexual abuse or exploitation, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, threats, harassment, hate targeting protected groups, fraud, spam, infringement, or disclosure of another person's sensitive personal information without permission. Do not evade blocking, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or upload malicious files. Pornographic content and services primarily intended for it are not permitted.
Reporting and enforcement
Use Report in a note to flag objectionable content. Signed-in users can block a sender from further in-app interactions. Email infoandsupport@simmernote.com for urgent abuse reports or an appeal. Include the note link only when necessary for investigation; do not send passwords or reset links. Call local emergency services for an immediate danger—the app is not an emergency service.
We apply automated text checks, use reports to investigate content, and can remove notes, disable sharing links, or suspend accounts for violations. Automated checks are imperfect and do not replace human review. Authorized moderators may inspect reported material. We aim to review actionable reports promptly; response times depend on severity and available information.
Service operation and account closure
Delivery, network availability, device notifications, and precise display timing cannot be guaranteed. Do not rely on SimmerNote for emergencies, safety-critical instructions, or information that must arrive at an exact time. You can delete your account in the app. We may restrict or terminate access for violations or security risks, subject to applicable law.
Other terms
The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, SimmerNote LLC disclaims implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential loss. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. Material changes will be posted here and notified when required. Apple's standard app license terms also apply where applicable.
